Ray Johnson Fan Club Relationship LXXXV “Ebola victims ARE LOOKING FOR TALENTED SOLDIERS WHO WANT TO find out the secrets of this most delicate of culinary arts” was completed on 10/13//2014 using trash from the streets, on the LP record cover “Top of the Pops Europe Edition.”

This collage was left the same day in Bristol, England, on a utility box beside the walking/bike path along St. Philips Causeway, across from the Burger King.

RJFC hit Saarland Germany in Summer 2014
During the summer of 2014 I made several trips to the Saarland area in Germany and while there I left two stickers and one Relationship Collage.

RJFC Sticker # 50 (above) was completed on 7/25/14 using found trash on a CD label and it was left the same day on a girder of a stairwell of an on-base housing unit at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany (below).


RJFC Sticker # 51 (above) was completed on 7/25/14 using found trash on a CD label and it was left the next day, 7/26/14 on a utility box on a corner of Rotenhofstrasse in Saarbrücken, Germany (below.)

Ray Johnson Fan Club Relationship LXXXIV ~ “ITEMS INTENTIONALLY LEFT No Detail is an Accident” (above) was completed 8/1/2014 using trash from the streets, on a used DVD and it was left the same day at a bus stop on the campus of the University Hospital of Saarland in Homburg, Germany (below).

Relationship LXXXI ~ Left in Paris

Ray Johnson Fan Club Relationship LXXXI ~ “Unmanned helicopters help third gender to make Whiskey.” was completed 5/6/2014 while sitting at Starbucks in the Brussels Central Train Station.

It was left on Friday. 9/5/2014 on a utility box at the National Ministry of Education at 72 Rue Regnault in the 13th Arr.
RJFC Sticker # 49 left in Bonn Germany.
RJFC Sticker # 49 was completed in Brussels on 5/6/14 using found trash on a rectangular label.
It was left July 1, 2014 in Bonn, Germany, on the back of a sign beside the bank of the Rhine River, just in front of the old parliament building and the bright red sculpture (1992 “L’Allume” by Mark di Suvero. It shows in the geographical direction of the German capital Berlin.)

Getting up in Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan & Brussels.
It’s spring and I’ve actually been busy for a change. Traveling around with my father on his first visit to Europe, I got up in Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan & Brussels.

Ray Johnson Fan Club Relationship LXXVII ~ “Floppy disks from Andy Warhol abused by interim bishop” was completed 4/30/2014 using trash from the streets of Amsterdam on the album cover “Exercise Along with Debbie Drake”.

This collage was left the same day on a utility box along the street Kromme Waal in Amsterdam, Nederland.

RJFC Sticker #47 was completed in Amsterdam on 4/30/14 using found trash on a rectangular label. It was left the same day on a trash bin along Frans Halsstraat just around the corner from the Heineken Headquarters.

After an overnight train, I stopped at Zurich Central and left a DVD collage there.

Ray Johnson Fan Club Relationship LXXVIII ~ “Fold Along Perforation and PAY NO ATTENTION TO RAY JOHNSON FAN CLUB .COM” was completed 4/30/2014 using trash from the streets on a used DVD.
This collage was left 5/1/2014 on a utility box just outside the Zurich Central Train Station in Switzerland.

Then during a quick stop to see a friend in Milano I posted a sticker on an actual phone box. Does anyone still use these???
RJFC Sticker #48 was completed in Amsterdam on 4/30/14 using found trash on a CD label.
It was left in Milan, Italy on 5/1/14, on a phone booth just outside the Milan Central Train Station.

Then, on to Brussels for a night before dropping my dad off at the airport.
Ray Johnson Fan Club Relationship LXXIX ~ “Why not try VELVET Lithium Radio with your TEENY HOUDINI” was completed 5/6/2014 using trash from the streets, on the 45 record cover “Blue Velvet” by Don Duke.

This collage was left the same day on a utility box beside the news stand in Marché De l’Agora, in Bruxelles, Belgium. (See below.)

“FOR YOUR Health SEE DOUBLE WITH ELECTIONS GALORE”
was completed 3/29/2014 using only trash from the streets of Paris.
I started with the album cover “101 Strings plus Guitars Galore Volume 2”.

This collage was left the same day in the Passage des Abbesses in Monmartre, Paris, France.

RJFC in Venice ~ March 2014
Every time we decide to take a trip, it’s difficult not to choose Venice again. I discover something different every time I visit. I left three pieces during this trip.
Ray Johnson Fan Club Relationship LXXV ~ “Putin offers new information about the birth of the universe” was completed 3/22/2014 using only trash from the streets of Venice on the album cover “Sheherazade: Artur Rodzinski conducting the Cleveland Orchestra”.

This collage was left the same day on the closed-up “Salumeria” shop, between the fish market and floating vegetable market along Fondamenta Sant’ Anna.

RJFC Sticker #44 was completed on 2/27/14 using only trash on a rectangular label. I made it while sitting at l’Excelsior restaurant in Mons, Belgium.

It was left in Venice, Italy on 3/19/14, on an advertisement poster for Boggi Blue Code, in the shelter at the Giardini vaporetto stop (above).

RJFC Sticker #45 was completed on 2/27/14 using only trash on a CD label. I made it while sitting at l’Excelsior restaurant in Mons, Belgium.

It was left (above) in Venice, Italy on 3/21/14, on a metal utility panel, just below a devotional statuette of Jesus at the Santa Maria del Giglio church near Ponte Duodo O Barbarigo. Shortly after I posted the sticker, an old man stopped to look at it for a full two minutes. After which, he promptly tore it off the wall and threw it in a nearby trash can.

RJFC Hits Madrid for the first time.
I’d visited Madrid once before back in 2004, but that was before I’d started doing any kind of street art. I have to say I wasn’t overly excited about going again, other than seeing our best friends from England who were meeting us there, but I must admit that it turned out to be an extremely enjoyable trip.
Here’s what I left while I was there…
Ray Johnson Fan Club Relationship LXXIV ~ “MADRID continues to lead with ZARATHUSTRA ON THE WILD SIDE OF MY LIFE” was completed 3/7/2014 using trash found on the streets of Madrid on the album cover “Top of the Pops Vol. 31”.
This collage was left the same day on a wooden planter near the Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid, Spain.

I also left two stickers in Madrid.
RJFC Sticker #43 (below) was completed on 2/27/14 using only trash on a CD label. I made it while sitting at l’Excelsior restaurant in Mons, Belgium.

It was left in Madrid, Spain on 3/7/14, on a light-blue mailbox at the intersection of Calle de Atocha and Calle de San Pedro. There was a massive line of people there which started two days before, for the devotional pilgrimage to see the Cristo de Medinaceli statue of Jesus, which happens every first Friday in March.

RJFC Sticker #46 (below) was also completed on 2/27/14 using only trash on a rectangular label. I made it while sitting at l’Excelsior restaurant in Mons, Belgium.

It was left in Madrid, Spain on 3/5/14, on a signpost at the intersection of Calle de San Eugenio and Calle San Ildefonso, Just down the street from our rental apartment there.
