RJFC sticker # 78 was made on a CD label using trash found on the streets of Denver, Colorado. It was made on 4/11/16 while siting at the Sanora Cafe on E. Colfax.
This sticker was stuck up in Atlanta on 4/25/16, beside the door of Wuxtry Records at 2096 North Decatur Road.
Urban Price Tag no. 500 left 4/9/16 on a stop sign on Broadway at 25th Street across from Silverstate Lofts in Denver.
Back in April of 2016 I had the opportunity to make a quick trip to Denver, Colorado for the first time. We stayed on East Colfax Ave, near N.Downing St. I sat several times at (what was then) the Sanora Cafe to work on my collages with trash found on the streets of Denver.
I also began my first Urban Price Tags here. Made and left four of them in Denver. I need to revisit this fun project soon. These little red price tags are “numbered” in a random fashion depending on what numbers I discover in my found objects. They could be a dollar or euro amount, a percentage, or just any kind of number.

I made two stickers and one “relationship” piece while in Denver: stickers # 77 & #78, and Relationship CXIX. But I also left some stickers I’d previously made, and brought with me.
Sticker # 68 (above) was made back in Tampa Bay on a CD label on 12/14/15. I stuck it on a cool “Route 40” green bike rack in front of the Sanora Cafe on East Colfax at Marion St. on 4/11/16. (below)
RJFC sticker # 76 was made on a small rectangular sticker using trash from the streets. I made it while sitting at a Starbucks in Pinellas Park, Fl, in The Shoppes at Park Place on 1/23/16. It was left on a lightpost outside the old 14th St. staff entrance to the Denver Art Museum on Sunday, 4/10/16. (below)
RJFC sticker # 77 (above) was made with trash from the streets of Denver on a 2013 USPS Priority Mail Label 228, while sitting at the Sanora Cafe on East Colfax at Marion St. on 4/9/16.
I left it the same day in a Labeauratoire Sticker Bomb (below) on a trash dumpster in the graffiti alley between Larimer Street & Walnut Street, between 29th & 28th St. along with work by Mimi le Clown, dwkrsna, C0rpse, Neverfart, Sara Conti, GATS, Artissin, JPO, Obey, Kryptc, CistOnes, SoreInfest, Jacuzzi & more…
And finally, my larger collage, Relationship CXIX – (THE BLOODY BARBER HIT MY fantastic PONYTAIL COACH) was also made on 4/11/16 while sitting at the Sanora Cafe.
It was made on a vintage album cover using trash found on the streets of Denver (above).
Relationship CXIX was left on 4/11/16 on an electrical box at the corner of East Colfax Avenue and North Lafayette Street, near Ice Cream Riot.
So altogether I left nine collage street art pieces on this trip to Denver. I also discovered some fantastic artists while there. Hope to visit again sometime..
A DVD collaged with found trash and stenciled with deStijl lines in red & yellow. Started while sitting at Starbucks Park Place in Pinellas Park, Florida on 1/23/16 & completed (the spray paint at home) on 4/19/2016.
Sent (along with CXII) to
Brooklyn for exhibition:
“Works of Art” at Bushwick Spray Paint Shop on 4/30/16
1009 Broadway, Bell 203, Brooklyn, NY
Then left on the streets of Brooklyn after the show.
RJFC sticker # 74 was completed by me on a Priority Mail Label 228 on 1/20/16 while sitting at Starbucks on 4th Street in St. Petersburg, FL.
It was sent to fellow collage & mail artist RF Côté in Quebec, Canada around 3/31/16 along with sticker # 67, & Relationships CXIV & CXV.
RF Côté added his part of the collaboration (seen above) around 4/17/16 including the Hannah Hoch Fan Club stamps.
my original collage before collaboration
He then put the sticker up about 4/19/16 on a Bicycle Route sign near the intersection of Boulevard Jacques – Cartier & Avenue de la Gare, in Sainte-Flavie, Quebec, Canada.
Relationship CXVII (SEND YOUR FRIENDS TO KILL OR GET KILLED BY LOTTERY)
This was completed on 1/20/16 on a used DVD while sitting at Starbucks on 4th Street in St. Petersburg, FL.
(double sided)
It was sent to fellow collage & mail artist RF Côté in Quebec, Canada around 2/10/16. (the mailing label is actually a Dunkin Donuts “sell by” sticker. I swiped a long strip of them off the counter one day while buying donuts.)
This was the first time I tried to send one of my DVD collages through the mail with just a stamp on it. When I first took it to the post office they wanted to charge me like $14 to send it in an envelope because it was “non bendable”. So I just bought the stamps that it would cost for the weight of a letter and dropped it in a mailbox. It got there just fine! Need to do more of these.
Relationships CXIV & CXV were completed on January 13, 2016 while sitting at Starbucks Park Place in Pinellas Park, Florida.
For this piece, I used an old used DVD+R (i think I found this one on the ground?) and I separated the top plastic layer from the bottom magnetic layer. This was to be a collaboration with RF Côté in Canada, so I sent him both halves to finish off and he sent one back to me. The center face part of this collage, was from a Pinellas County Sheriff’s office Wanted Flyer of a wanted criminal. The rest, I just tried to mirror in compositional elements.
This (below) shows the CXV half with RF Côté’s collaboration which I received back from him in April of 2016.
I left it in a little, transparent informational flyer box, just outside the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery at Florida SouthWestern State College in Fort Myers, Florida on 5/9/16.
I don’t think I ever saw how the other half came out.
RJFC sticker # 73 was completed using a large, 1999 vintage, blue-top, Priority Mail label 228, on December 29, 2015 while sitting at (what used to be Joffrey’s Coffee shop at the corner of 15th Street & E. 8th Avenue in Ybor City (Tampa), Florida.
This sticker was donated for auction to help artists Ryan Plunkett and Erin Brooks who had a terrible house fire. https://www.gofundme.com/plunkanderin
